I just figured out how to post here again - after the "remodel" I couldn't even figure out how to sign in and then I started a facebook page so wasn't sure if I wanted to keep the blog or not -it's still up in the air! Anyway, I AM taking sessions. For those that did not know, after my little leave of absence I found out I was pregnant and then delivered Cassidy Joy on May 26th, 2011 so I have been a little bit busy. I am so excited to announce that I am now offering digital packages! Pricing is still in the works, but there will be several options for those clients that may only want a few images on a disc or those who want the entire session. Not sure if it is true, but I heard we are in for some warm weather soon! There is still time to schedule a session AND have prints, cards, and/or gifts in time for Christmas! So hurry up and book your session - November is going to fill up fast!

One last thing, I am contemplating doing some portrait parties in which you can invite your friends all over for mini-sessions and receive 20% off all prints - a normal session is 2-3 hours, whereas this would be about 30 minutes. This is for those of you only wanting a few pictures (for example if you just want Christmas cards!)and you would get 10-15 images in your gallery vs. the normal 20-30. Session fee would just be $15 with ALL of that going towards your print credit!! More details to follow, but you can email or call me if you think you might be interested!

Thought I should finally post some pictures of my newest bundle of joy! Cameron Dean made his presence on Dec 22nd via c-section at 7:59am weighing 7 pounds 11 ounces and 20 in long. He is now 5 weeks already - I can't believe it! Here are some fave pics of him so far, but check out my flickr link to the right for tons more! (oh, and I am sooo ready to get behind the camera again and get back into the swing of things so go ahead and call me to book a session!)

My poor blog has been neglected lately - I really have been busy and just now getting to post some. So, what have I been up to? First off, I have been trying to take a few "snapshots" of my kids a couple times a week - I have found that the more I learn about photography the less everyday snapshots I take of my kids - I try too hard to get the technical aspects right and miss out on the important things! So, here are my technically not perfect, but adorable pics of the loves of my life:

This was my first large family and let me tell you it was a challenge! Fun nonetheless and everyone was sooo cooperative - even the kids! I learned a lot and it gave me even more ideas for the next one.

I have recently done a mini-shoot for my sister and her family, a full session for 3 siblings, and then one of a 3 year old adorable little girl. (Don't forget to check out my flickr where I upload the full sessions - link is to the right)

This is Baby Zy (now 4 months old!!) I am still amazed at his eyes - I thought my kids had beautiful eyes, but WOW!

Well, it just ate my post- darn! What I typed before was that I am not really sure how these blogs work - I feel like I am just talking to myself as I have no one to really view it yet - LOL. I took Carter out to a farm for some pictures on Wednesday since he is turning TWO! I cannot believe it! Where did my baby go? I just found the ankle bracelet from the hospital when he was born - I about cried. He is now running, jumping, singing, laughing, counting, and raising hell! My fun loving boy!

Hello everyone! I have finally broken down and started a blog of my own. I have no idea what I am doing yet, so please bear with me! Just a little bit about me: I love digital scrapbooking (you will probably see lots of layouts posted) and digital photography. I also enjoy making digital cards. My goal is to build a portfolio with a variety of different images ranging from maternity, babies, children, families, and seniors to weddings and whatever else might come my way! I am also the mother of two beautiful blondies whose pictures will be on here a lot. I think that is it for now - off to figure out how to post some samples of my work!
